Acrylic Enamel

Acrylic Enamel is a single stage paint (no clearcoat) that provides good durability and protection. Formulated to provide oustanding gloss and depth in an easy to use system.

The equipment and tractor colors below have been formulated in-house after much research. Modern colors have been matched to actual new equipment or formulated with the help of the manufacturer. Older colors have been formulated to those that restorers accept as most accurate for the application. We are working towards club approvals when possible. All colors are available here in industrial acrylic enamel or urethane as well as in several quality automotive topcoats. All of our paints are of higher quality than those alkyd enamels available pre-packaged on supply store shelves.

K2 Acrylic Enamel can be applied without a hardner. For better gloss, durability, and repairability use AIH50 hardner at a ratio of 8:2:1. Eight parts paint: two parts reducer: one part hardner. Reducers and hardners are available at the bottom of the page.

Persian Orange #1 is correct from 1929 to 1960. Persian Orange #2 was used after 1960. A-C used several shades of equipment yellow. We've narrowed them down to a bright yellow and a tan yellow. These yellows are very close to all the variations but may not be absolutely exact.
